Hantang Inn Hostel Xi'An - Xi'an (Shaanxi)

The birds in cages are an absolute disgrace, it ruined my entire stay! The coffee at breakfast was just watered down swill unless you were lucky enough to arrive before the herd. I almost gave a good review, but where was my complimentary welcome gift? Very disappointed.

Stayed here with my son, everything was excellent. It had clean private bathroom...

From start to finish - a such great experience because of October holidays. Brilliant, incredible setting next to tourist attractions, tourist sites and Bell Towel. Btw, located to use the public transport. Would stay here again, no doubt.

It was located in a local area in an alley. Hosts were accommodating, even gave us room as on the photos.

Clean spacious ensuite room with 2 double beds. We were met at the station at 6am and room was available on arrival. We enjoyed the hostel tour to the terracotta warriors. Great friendly ambiance, fabulous roof top garden. Ok if you want western food, however we preferred the breakfasts from the street vendors outside. Great central location and easy walk to the bell & drum towers, muslim quarter and city walls. Cycling the city walls was great fun.

Consider taking advantage of their tour packages for a stress-free way to visit local attractions, as they coordinate everything efficiently.

Hard to find a better place. They are so helpful and the place has a great buzz about it. I will stay again. Phil

Liked its great and brilliant location on the quiet alley in the heart of Xi'an. The staff was absolutely superb and helped with late checkout.

Strongly recommend for a short break

Cozy room, helpful staff with great English, and the location is perfect for exploring the city, as it is only a short walk to the nearest subway station and various local eateries.

Lo mejor es la localizacion, a un paso del centro. En el bar ponen musica en directo por la noche y aunque he leido quejas de ruido por la noche, yo estuve en una habitacion doble en el tercer piso y no tuve ningun problema.

It was just a solid selection for a couple of nights in Xi'an with fantastic value for money. The staff quickly helped with a wash basin issue in the bathroom, which I appreciated. Make sure to try the breakfast. It's cheap and delicious.

Great atmosphere, nice and helpful staff, great food, central to everything, best hostel I stayed in during my time in China!

Nice staff, large common room and roofterrace, activities at night, good location

The room was small, it was a big hostel so it felt more like a large hotel instead of a cosy backpackers retreat.
